  • We pride ourselves for sourcing ultra premium ingredients. Crafted in small batches, this sacred formula combines goat ghee — revered for its cooling and Pitta-balancing properties — with protective castor oil, nourishing Triphala, beeswax from mustard-fed hives, and hydrating Kashmiri rose ark. Every ingredient is selected to soothe, strengthen, and sanctify the delicate skin around your eyes. Click on any ingredient on the left to learn more.

  • At the heart of Shri Liner is Kajal Bhasma, a traditional soot created by slowly burning organic, grass-fed ghee over a flame — a centuries-old method practiced by Indian women to protect vision, ward off negativity, and connect with the divine. Scroll down for the recipe.

  • Shri in Sanskrit embodies the divine feminine — a force of abundance, radiance, and reverence. It is the essence of beauty that transcends the surface, reminding us that true beauty is rooted in balance, vitality, and sacred energy. Shri calls forth the power of nourishment, grace, and inner strength, reflecting beauty as a holistic experience — one that nurtures both the body and soul.

Recipe

  1. Prepare the soot:
Light a small flame-safe diya or lamp with goat ghee and place a flat, heat-safe plate above it. Let it burn for 30–60 minutes so the soot collects on the underside of the plate. Scrape the soot gently into a clean bowl once cooled.

  2. Infuse the castor oil (optional but recommended):
Simmer castor oil with a pinch of triphala powder for 10–15 minutes on low heat. Strain and let it cool.

  3. Melt and mix:
In a double boiler, gently melt the beeswax with a little goat ghee. Once liquefied, stir in the soot, infused castor oil, and triphala powder. Mix until smooth and even.

  4. Add rose ark:
Let the mixture cool slightly before adding a few drops of rose ark. Stir again.

  5. Set:
Pour into a small, sterile jar or kajal container. Let it set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker solidifying.
