Our Story
I want us to feel beautiful. The kind that starts from within and glows outward
I grew up watching my grandparents stir soups with roots I couldn’t name, rub oils into their joints with quiet reverence, and treat food like medicine. They never rushed through rituals — everything they did, they did with care. That’s where my journey into health began: with the slow, steady wisdom of my elders. Years later, when I met my partner and began exploring his culture, I found myself in India for six months. There, in open kitchens and dusty marketplaces, I saw that same reverence — not just in food or healing, but in beauty. The women weren’t just wearing makeup. They were preparing it. Mixing kajal from soot and ghee. Applying turmeric with mantras. Everything was made by hand. Everything had purpose.
That changed me. I realized that somewhere along the way, we traded intention for convenience — and our bodies are paying the price. The Makeup Pantry was born from a desire to return to what’s real. To give women simple, powerful tools that nourish instead of harm. I don’t want us to keep absorbing toxins in the name of looking beautiful. I want us to feel beautiful — the kind that starts from within and glows outward. This isn’t just makeup. It’s medicine disguised as ritual. And it’s yours to reclaim.
